Kowhaiwhai Pattern

Kowhaiwhai pattern is the painting we drew with paint. Reuben Paterson was the one that inspired us to draw Kowhaiwhai patterns. The part that I enjoyed was when we were painting because it was drawing and I like drawing. The part that I found difficult was when we used the pastel because it had been a long time since I’ve used it.  

Basketball facts

Fact-1  basketball is the best game for boys and girls and if you want to play you have to get fit.

Fact-2 In basketball you have to shoot at the the square that helps you aim in the basket and it is also fun.

Fact-3 Make sure if someone is behind you and their trying to get the ball you pass it to the other person in your team who’s close to the goal.

Fact-4 When your coach is talking you listen to him at all times. If someone is talking with somebody else then you just tap them on the shoulder and say hey stop talking.   

Stellaluna

Fruit bats can see at night and every bat is like that even the vampire bats. Fruit bats eat fruit like mango and flower nectar. Fruit bats live in the trees and the vampire bat lives in the cave. Fruit bats stand upside down on their thumbs. Bats they don’t have thumbs like us or legs because their legs are really skinny then ours. Also one is kind of fat.

Okatapodi

Oktapodi was a short film set in Greece.  We watched this film because we are learning to share about opinion about things.

Okatapodi was a little octopus who lived in a tank with his girlfriend, who was pink. One day a man came and took Okatapodi’s girlfriend away. Okatapodi went off and saved her. The man threw them out of the van and they were jumping in and out of the neighbours pools to get away.

My opinion of the movie is that I liked it because at the beginning they were hugging each other and Oktapodi did get to rescue his girlfriend

Holy Week

On the first day of Holy Week Jesus entered the town and it was also palm Sunday and everyone waved the palms and put them on the road.

On the second day he went to the temple and everyone made it like it was a market place. Jesus said to the people “don’t make this place like a market because this is God's house and you should respect it” and he chastised everyone away and he healed the lepers.

On the third day it was the last supper and he shared the bread and the wine with his disciples.

On the fourth day Jesus went up to the mountain and prayed to God but Jesus thought about it and said to God he will do it for everyone's sin, so everyone can be good. Jesus was scared but said that he would do it. Finally he died to give us new life.     

Studyladder Week 6

This week in maths I went on studdyladder and did counting to ten in Spanish, Mexican, and English(British) I enjoyed it because it was fun. Now my alien is 1 years old.
