Imagination Story

One beautiful day my parents told me to dig a hole in the back yard. Once it was done a  second later I felt a crack in the ground. I was very scared and then boom! I fell down a big, big hole. It was like a water slide without the water.

When I landed, I looked around, it was cool. I looked one more time and there were no houses and no trees. I said “anyone here?” I said one more time “anyone here?” and kept on walking, it was a long walk. Until I saw a big hole I stepped on something and I accidently slipped into it and it was scary. I landed on some  trifle, I looked around and I was shocked when I saw everything. I saw lots of houses  made of candy, there were trees that were made of candy even the food that the people eat was candy. I thought “yay, I get to eat lollies all day”. When I looked at the people they looked the same as human people but they wore lollies for clothes which looked pretty weird.

I saw a shadow coming up to me, it was a snow fairy I was really, really shocked when I saw her and it started to rain jellybeans. I said “mmm” as the jellybeans fell out of the sky. Then it gave me a present it was a baby dove in a pink box with a black ribbon then the snow fairy said “close your eyes and when you get home tell your parents to buy a bird cage for the dove and in three days you may be rich.”

I closed my eyes really hard then I opened my eyes and I was in my bedroom. I said “that was crazy” then my Mum came in the room and said “what happened in here?” and I said “I was in a weird world” but
she didn't believe me.

Pigeon: Impossible

Pigeon: Impossible
Plot: It’s about a secret agent named Walter then he sat down on a bench eating a donut when a pigeon came along and it wanted the donut. The man gave her a little bit but she wanted the whole thing. The pigeon gave him a slap on the face then she fell into the suitcase. When it was inside the suitcase it was pushing all the buttons.

Problem: The bird fell down in the briefcase and the bomb came out and was about to blow up Russia Moscow

Solution: Walter dropped the doughnut and the bird followed it to the ground and the bomb blew by shooting the mistle

Your opinion of the story: I like it because it is funny my favourite part was when the bird was hitting all the buttons.

Kowhaiwhai Pattern

Kowhaiwhai pattern is the painting we drew with paint. Reuben Paterson was the one that inspired us to draw Kowhaiwhai patterns. The part that I enjoyed was when we were painting because it was drawing and I like drawing. The part that I found difficult was when we used the pastel because it had been a long time since I’ve used it.

Holiday In Fiji

On an exciting day my Mum and I went to the airport because I was going to Fiji. It was only my Dad’s mum and I that were going. The plane was called Air Pacific Fiji, it was as big as the Air New Zealand plane.

We arrived at 8 o’clock and we went to sleep at 10 o’clock. They had mosquito nets and I still had itchy bites that were really itchy. I scratched and scratched but they were really itchy.

It was Saturday and we went on a really small plane, it was really fun and it only took 5 minutes to get to Savusavu. When we got there I tried to unblock my ears but they wouldn't unblock. To get to the house you had to walk up a big hill and it had really big rocks.

On Sunday it was Mother’s Day so we went to Church and the ladies did some play and they were really funny. After Church we went home and we had to go through muddy slides, they didn’t have any stairs because the flood took it away. When I was walking I almost slipped over so my Papa pulled me up. For lunch we had rice mixed with coconut sauce and sugar.

The next day on a sunny morning I went swimming in the sea with my cousins. We went on the really deep side, I got on a bamboo raft, it was funny because I kept on falling over. Soon we had to go home, we lived in a village called Nagigi it is a really small village and you had to do lots of work at home.

The next day it was sunny again so I went swimming with my cousin’s. One of my cousin’s names was Filo and the other was Lucy. When we went back home we had lunch, we had corned beef and spaghetti, I had two plates of corned beef and spaghetti.

After two weeks we came back from the island and we went back on the plane to New Zealand, I was so happy to see my mum's face. Once I saw my mum's face I ran as fast as I could. When we went home we had kebab for lunch.  I loved my trip and hope to go back again one day.
